{"id":2660,"date":"2025-04-22T12:28:18","date_gmt":"2025-04-22T12:28:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.kitchenparameter.com\/index.php\/docs\/pos-system\/reservations\/how-to-process-the-reservations\/"},"modified":"2025-07-14T12:10:50","modified_gmt":"2025-07-14T12:10:50","slug":"how-to-process-the-reservations","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/help.kitchenparameter.com\/index.php\/docs\/pos-system\/reservations\/how-to-process-the-reservations\/","title":{"rendered":"How to process the Reservations?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now in the above we learn how to create the reservation, let\u2019s how the service will move the reservation forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Accepting the reservation: <\/strong>Let\u2019s see how to accept the reservation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 1: In the calendar view click on the particular date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 2: Inside the \u201cActions\u201d click on the \u201cAccept reservation\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cancel the reservation: <\/strong>&nbsp;Now we are going in detail about the reservation to cancel the reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 1: In the calendar view click on the particular date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 2: Inside the \u201cActions\u201d click on the \u201cCancel reservation\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 3: Enter the \u201cReason\u201d for cancelling the reservation&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 4: Select the \u201cEmail sending checkbox\u201d for sending the email to the guest<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 5: After doing all those, click on the \u201cConfirm\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>When you select the \u201cEmail checkbox\u201d then only the customer will get the email of the cancellation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Marking the guest arrival: <\/strong>Now we can give the functionality i.e. marking the reservation as a guest arrival instead of writing it down on the dairy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 1: In the calendar view click on the particular date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step 2: Inside the \u201cActions\u201d click on the \u201cGuest arrival\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Assigning the reservation to the table: <\/strong>We are creating the reservations or the customer is creating the reservation.
